The Studio Crochet Beanie Set: 3 Crochet Hat Patterns in 1

What could a curious crocheter want more than three crochet patterns for the price of One?

I have been loving my Studio Messy Bun Hat and have only take it off to play with the two other variations of the Studio Hats, for which the patterns are now available to purchase as a set.

The Studio Beanie Set Options

The two new designs are great versatile unisex hat designs which would look great in any colour combination.

The Slouchy Beanie got it’s first outing playing in the autumn leaves when it was still warm enough to go out without a coat (just!).

The messy bun hat variation is available to read at zero cost here.

You might also like the studio stripe scarf and studio scoodie which are both free crochet patterns which use the same texture and would make great matching accessories.

You can purchase the PDF pattern containing all three hat variations from RavelryEtsy & Love Crafts.

Three crochet hats using the same stitch pattern and yarn but in different hat styles are laid flat on a wooden surface. A text caption below reads ‘3 crochet beanie hats, 1 crochet pattern.’

Materials

5.5mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge. I used my clover amour hook.

Yarn Requirements

Approximately 150-200m / 165-220yds, of Aran / Medium worsted weight yarn

The item pictured, uses Women’s Institute Soft and Smooth Aran yarn in  teal (Yarn A) and grey (Yarn B).

The colour changes given in the pattern represent the finished items pictured but you can choose your colour combinations to suit.

The precise amount of yarn you use is dependent on which hat you make.

Yarn Substitution Options

A similar aran / worsted weight yarn which meets gauge is suitable for this pattern. Different fibres and yarns will produce a different finished result.

You may find this post useful when choosing yarn.
