Easter Crochet Pattern Round Up – Spring is springing!
Despite the cold snap we have had this week, spring is coming (yay!) and Easter is just around the corner.
This week, in an effort to help you get ahead, I thought I would share with you some of my favourite easter related patterns from Etsy. I’m a big an Etsy fan. As well as having my own shop there, I love browsing and seeing all the amazing beautiful creations form all kinds of talented makers around the globe. It’s incredibly inspirational so I’m taking a break from my own designs this week and spreading the love to some super talented designers!

I have selected a range of items and skill levels, in no particular order, to ensure there is something for everyone, though I confess, my bunny game is strong!
7 Easter Crochet Patterns you need to make!
Just click on the title or picture to access the patterns!
1. The Cutest Easter Bunny Amigurumi
After my attempt to design my Snowicorn Amigurumi I developed a new found respect for amigurumi and toy designers. This little guy designed by Rokiki simply stole my heart! That bobble tail and his floppy ears just make me melt!
2. The Easter Bunny Basket
This adorable Easter basket is designed by BrianaKCrochet who is based in Florida. If it wasn’t easter, I would definitely be showcasing Briana’s Unicorn Farts Crochet Project bag because it’s flipping awesome! Can I add another WiP to my list???
3. An Egg-celent apron
I actually came across this one because a friend commissioned me to make one as a special gift to someone else who has just got chickens. I simply love the imagination behind this and have much respect for it’s total niche market! This is designed by Heart Hook Home and there is also a kids version available. Another plus is that she also offers a free version of the pattern on her blog!
4. Easter Egg Cocoon Newborn Set
Easter is about newborns if nothing else and this is so perfect that it makes my ovaries weep a little! This is from Canadian Designer Illuminkiti Designs who also makes some stunning finished objects as well as other knit and crochet patterns.
5. The Braer Bunny Bonnet
I have vivid memories of the Braer rabbit story as a child so had to include this. It helps that pattern from The Dandy Lion’s Raw is may be one of the sweetest kids hats I have ever seen!
6. The Sheep Pillow
This Super cute Sheep Pillow is perfect for a child’s bedroom or playroom. Dutch designer Annie Alster offers a range of other character pillows too
7. The Spring Sheep
I mean just look at this colourful flock!! I know it’s a second amigurumi because in the yarn world, who could resist this cute sheep? I love what VendulkaM has done here with the mix of fibres. It creates such character. The guys are my tribe!
This reminds me of a video I saw a while back on Facebook. A gang of shepherds created a whole art thing by herding different coloured sheep… then they went to town and added lights, played pong and all sorts. It was fantastic. In fact I need to find the video to share…
Wow – this was nearly 10 years ago (and appears to be an advert)! It also sent me off down a YouTube Sheep herding rabbit hole so before you disappear down the same path (you have been warned!), I just wanted to say that I hope you enjoy looking at, and even making some of these gorgeous patterns. To me, this time of year is about new beginnings – more so than at traditional New Year – so I hope you find something here that you can begin with!
Happy Hooking
