“Though she be but little, she is fierce”
Get your fierce on with the Mighty Mitts crochet fingerless gloves.
The PDF crochet pattern can be downloaded from: Ravelry, Love Crochet and Etsy
The Mighty Mitts use simple crochet stitches and are suitable for a beginner crocheter with some experience. They use the back loop and 3rd loop technique. Details are given in the pattern.
The extra might in these mitts is that they only use around 50g of double knit yarn, so are great to bust your stash and top up your gift cupboard.
The pattern is worked from wrist up and is written to include Womens S/M, M/L and X1/X2. The approximate sizes of the finished items are listed in the pattern.
These are a unisex design so make great gifts for men too. The X1/X2 is equivalent to a men’s medium, but instructions are given in the pattern to adjust the design to any adult size.
The ribbed texture makes them extra thick so they are really warm and toasty. Plus, the best bit about fingerless mitts, you can still use your phone whilst you’re out and about. No more pulling off one glove with your teeth and then dropping it in a puddle whilst you try to reply to that message, or take a photo whilst you’re out in the cold!
These also look awesome in stripes. Guidance is given in the pattern to make the stripy version.

I loved making the Studio scoodie and have a bit of a thing for it’s texture. I felt like I wasn’t finished with that stitch pattern so I decided to add some colour work (I’m a sucker for a stripy scarf) and create a whole range!
Also in the range is the Studio Bun Hat Free Pattern or the downloadable set of 3 beanie patterns for the price of 1.
But today I bring you the studio stripe scarf!Keep Reading
