Crochet Beanie Hat in Autumn

Tying up Loose Ends: The Crochet Studio Beanie set

  • November 13, 2017March 6, 2020

It’s that time of year where things really start to take off in the run up to Christmas.  I have so many exciting things going on but a lot I can’t talk about yet, so today is going to be short and hopefully sweet!

One decision I have made is to dip my toe back into the world of selling finished items.  I am going to be making a limited run of my Off the Rails Infinity Scarves in a choice of 5 colours – Pink, Cream, Light Grey, Dark Grey and Mustard – which I am obsessed with but I can’t wear with my complexion!

I’ll be using the same stunning 100% Merino Cheeky Chunky yarn from Wool Couture which I really am rather in love with.  These should be posted in my Etsy shop next week (I’m working on some more product shots in the other colours!) but if anyone would like to pre-order, just drop me a message, especially if you’re looking for a different colour to those listed so I can include you in my yarn order!).  The scarves will retail for £35 plus postage but blog readers will get 10% off (checkout code to follow for when they go live on Etsy)

My other update today is the release of a new pattern!

After the success of the Studio Scoodie and Studio Stripe Scarf Patterns, I had promised you there would be more in the Studio Range.  Well here we are…

Studio Beanie set 2

I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to make a slouchy beanie, a fitted hat or a messy bun hat.  So I made all 3!

I released the Studio Bun Hat as a free pattern a couple of weeks ago but wanted to let you know that you can now also get the pattern in a slouchy and fitted beanie style.  The patterns are for sale as a 3 in one job lot (who doesn’t love a bargain!).

All the details of the Studio Beanie Set are in my pattern directory or you can go straight to Ravelry or Etsy for the download.

Finally, a big thank you for all the awesome feedback I’ve had on my Free Festive Friday Christmas patterns.  I love seeing all the pictures of your finished objects so please keep them coming either tagging me on socials or using #HookmeHappy on insta.  I do a happy dance ever time I see one so THANK YOU!!

That’s all for today.

Have a great week one and all!

Happy Hooking

Dx
